HVAC Tech 1: Career Interest Form
Tech 1 – Helper / Apprentice
Experience: 0–12 months in HVAC (or trade school only)
Pay: $18–$22/hr (depending on schooling and experience)
Who This Is For
Apply as a Tech 1 if:
- You are not yet ready to answer service calls alone in a truck.
- You have little to no real-world HVAC experience, or mostly school/shop time.
- You want to learn the trade the right way on a Gold Collar Championship Team.
What You'll Do
- Ride with senior technicians on installs and service calls.
- Learn the basics of diagnostics, maintenance, and customer service.
- Build the skills and experience needed to move to Tech 2.
If you've never led installs or run service calls by yourself, you are a Tech 1.
