HVAC Tech 4: Career Interest Form
Tech 4 – Senior Technician / Field Leader
Experience: 4+ years verifiable HVAC technician experience
Pay: $34–$40/hr (depending on experience)
Minimum Requirements
You should have:
- 60+ residential installs led as the primary installer.
- 2,000+ residential service calls conducted.
- Some commercial service and install experience.
- Commercial experience can be partially offset by strong residential experience (determined during the interview process).
- Proven experience training and developing less-experienced technicians.
- Demonstrated history of profitability for prior companies through ethical selling and strong ticket averages.
- Ability to work within an ethical, standardized commission model.
Who This Is For
Apply as a Tech 4 if:
- You can troubleshoot almost all residential service calls without help, except for rare one-off situations.
- You want to train and lead junior technicians and help them advance.
- You are comfortable being a field leader and setting the example for our Gold Collar standard.
